Based on the model of Convoy of Hope International established in 1994 (www.convoyofhope.org) Convoy of Hope Europe was established in 2003.
Convoy of Hope Europe is not an organization as much as it is a movement of compassion. We take seriously the challenge of helping people in need, believing that we can make a difference.
Millions across Europe are in need of tangible hope. They need more than words and false promises. They need real help. That is why Convoy of Hope Europe was established---to take food, water, clothing, and more to people who are truly desperate for help.
We have the God-given mandate to extend a helping hand to hurting families and their children across Europe . Through relief efforts, out reaches, supply lines and more, we are responding to their cries for help.
A typical Convoy of Hope Europe outreach includes grocery distribution, job and health fairs, refreshments, activities for children and live entertainment. At each outreach, hundreds of volunteers are mobilized in order to touch our guests in a tangible, compassionate manner.
Convoy of Hope Europe partners with local organizations and churches across racial and denominational lines. This partnership unites communities, providing a platform for touching lives and bringing hope to thousands of individuals and families. Our guests are introduced to these organizations and volunteers who can provide long-term support, resources and encouragement.
